BIKE & WINE

In the heart of fantastic Italy you will find this mtb experience, which we warmly recommend. Among the vineyards of Upper Piedmont between Gattinara and Ghemme, you will discover the pleasure of cycling among the vines that have made the local wines famous all over the world!

The tour starts from the Travaglini Winery in Gattinara on electric bikes (own or can be rented through us), and we then ride together with a mtb guide and a sommelier who together will offer you a colorful experience with beautiful nature mixed with stories about it local wine culture.

You will get to taste the local wines in combination with locally produced snacks.

During the approximately 2 hours of the tour, you will pedal on easy dirt roads using the power of the electric bike and will also be able to get acquainted with historical and spectacular castles, towers and fortifications.

In the afternoon we go  to Pella on the shores of Lake Orta, where we board the boat that will take us to Orta San Giulio, the pearl of the lakes._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_In the spectacular location right above the pier, you will be able to check into your room for the night. But before it's bedtime, we'll have dinner at one of the most special restaurants in the village, just a few steps through the alleys of Orta.

After you have enjoyed both breakfast and the view the following morning, we make our way to Ghemme where the next adventure begins. The new tour starts on the hills of the upper Novara area where our e-bikes will safely take us while we can enjoy the presence of Monte Rosa which will be visible in the scenery for most of the day and can be seen from both wineries we will to visit.A lovely downhill will lead us to our final tasting in the Rovellotti cellars located in the heart of the castle of Ghemme.

This experience can be booked at any time of the year. You only need to have an e-bike and a mtb helmet, which can be rented through us if necessary.
