Transalp del Monte Rosa

Transalp Monte Rosa 4 days including Helibike

Transalp del Monte Rosa

Here we offer a fantastic Mtb adventure that you are guaranteed to remember for the rest of your life It will take you over the highest mountains in Europe for 4 days via, among other things, the ancient paths of the Walser people, and on the last day you will also get _cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_enjoy a helicopter flight that takes us from Zermatt village to the Plateau Rosà 3500 m altitude, a most spectacular flight passing just a few meters from the summit of the Cervino-Matterhorn.

The adventure departs from Valtournenche in the Aosta Valley and at the end of today's stage, after passing the Champoluc Valley, you will enjoy an overnight stay in the Gressoney Valley.

After breakfast on day two, we   will go up to Passo dei Salati in Val Sesia with the help of ski lifts. We will then pedal our way up 1600 meters of altitude to the Colle del Turlo, one of the most spectacular points of the Tour. The first part of the descent leads to Val Quarazza, where you can see tracks from the Second World War.

At the bottom of the valley we arrive at the lake of the fairies where we enjoy a stop for refreshments before continuing to the village of Macugnaga, located just below the eastern side of Monte Rosa.

The overnight stay in Macugnaga gives us time to recover before continuing the following morning, when we take the cable car to Monte Moro into Swiss territory. Via a very long descent we eventually arrive at the Sas Fee valley and the village of Schtalden where we take the train to Zermatt, one of the highest ranked ski resorts in the world

The following morning begins with a briefing before today's helicopter tour. The Air Zermatt helicopter will then offer breathtaking views of the Matterhorn peak at an altitude of over 4,500 meters. After landing on Plateau Rosa at 3500 meters, we descend for the final descent on the Italian side. When we finish in the village of Antey Saint Andrè, we have descended 2,500 meters in altitude on the saddle.

This adventure is demanding, both technically and physically

During this adventure, your pack will be moved between the various lodgings and you can count on being able to change your clothes every day. Except to Zermatt.

To complete this adventure within 4 days, you need to use an enduro-trail type e-bike, which you can rent through us. It is also important to listen to the advice of our guides who will take good care of you, especially when it comes to battery management. Our guides can handle a maximum of 7 people in each group, so if there are more of you, additional guides are needed.

Normally this tour is available from the end of July until about September 20 (snow permitting). Each participant must wear a helmet and must also bring all emergency mechanical equipment for their bike. All technical and logistical details will be reviewed together with your guide before departure.
