Transalp cycling Cervinia-Milano

5-6 days

Here's an adventure for you who love challenging rides! Unlike the international, popular areas around Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc, we are currently the only ones organizing adventures in the area.
The adventure starts in Cervinia in Valle d'Aosta, continues through Piedmont and then ends in Milan, right in the heart of Lombardy. The adventure can be completed over either 5 or 6 days depending on the participants' physical condition, preparation and wishes.
Depending on the conditions, your guide will choose the best of the two different starting points we start from in Cervinia. The first stop will then be in the Gressoney La Trinitè area after crossing the Champoluc Valley, located right on the slopes of Monte Rosa.
The following morning we ride the ski lifts towards Passo dei Salati, leaving the Aosta Valley to pedal further into Piedmont in the Alagna Valsesia area. We cross the River Sesia on our way to Varallo Sesia where we begin the climb towards the Colmapasset / Alpe Sacchi.

At the top, we spend the night in the Omegna area and enjoy the view of Lake Orta below us. Before bedtime, we enjoy a well-deserved after-bike drink and a spectacular dinner view by the lake.
The next morning we get ready for the climb to Mount Mottarone from the top of which you can admire the seven lakes in the area. The next descent at about 1300 m altitude takes us to Stresa on the shores of Lake Maggiore, a well-known and well-visited area where we can once again enjoy well-deserved rest and refreshment in fantastic surroundings. The fourth day begins with a boat transfer across the lake and then continues in the direction of  Ticino Natural Park and the ancient Via dei Navigli. We are now in Lombardy where there is a lot of interesting history and culture. The waterworks in the locks and crossings of the Navigli that are still in operation were actually made by Leonardo Da Vinci,

On the last day we cycle on to Milan and end our fantastic tour in front of the Duomo.
Throughout the tour, our luggage will be transported between the hotels using  our assistance vehicles, which are also available in case of emergency. During a trip like this, conditions can change due to weather and the guide may change the plan, all so that you get the most out of your experience. Each participant needs to bring mechanical emergency material for their bike as well as suitable clothing. Everything will be reviewed together with the guide during the planning meeting before departure.
We will sometimes take ski lifts to get up to a whopping 3000 meters on the highest peaks, but some climbs we will pedal our way up. We therefore recommend an enduro or trail ebike, which can be rented through us. Depending on weather and snow conditions, this adventure is available between June and October. Your guide will adapt the tour according to weather, snow, the participants' experiences and wishes.
